Groundwork turns UT Austin and West Campus into a place you can explore before you make a decision. Start with the UT Austin student guides for practical answers about applications, registration, money, deadlines and campus life. Each guide keeps its sources and check dates close to the answer, so you can confirm the rule that applies to you.
Looking for a place to live? Compare the West Campus housing directory, then open the 3D housing map to see buildings in context and compare dated rent, fees and estimated walks. When it is time to build a schedule, use the UT course grade explorer to compare reported outcomes without treating past grades as a promise. Business students can also use the McCombs guides to find application routes, majors and planning resources. The interactive city above stays the front door; these student tools help with the choices beyond it.
